Dublin, Ireland is the largest city in Ireland as well as the capital of the country which makes it a great place to visit in addition to seeing some of the beautiful countryside that the rest of the country has to see too. There are many wonderful things to do when visiting Dublin and this article will look into some of those wonderful suggestions like taking a special Doors of Dublin tour where you see the various brightly painted doors or the steel buildings and possibly a roll up door as well. The arts scene in Dublin is quite a substantial one combining literature, theatre and art as all are very important to the Irish. There have been several famous literary writers that are from Dublin such as William Butler Yeats, George Bernard Shaw, and Samuel Beckett and a few spectacular playwrights from this city have been Oscar Wilde, Jonathan Swift and James Joyce. One of the nice streets to see is Grafton Street which has a lot of wonderful shopping areas that range from expensive designers like Chanel and Louis Vuitton to smaller boutiques inside of Brown Thomas department store too and other recommended streets to walk down are O’Connell Street, Liffey Street and Abbey Street. For more historic places in addition to great markets and trading sights head to Moore Street. That is a lot of fun to spend an afternoon.
Another gerat activity to do is to visit the Guinness Brewery in Dublin. You can take a tour of the facility to see how the local beer is made and then finish up in their own pub for a free pint or two.
